Nationwide closure of traders on 18 February against the terrorist attack in Pulwama

Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has called for nationwide closure on Monday 18th February after the terrorist attack in Pulwama. It has been called in order to express sympathy for the families of the 40 CRPF martyrs who were killed in the attack.
CAIT said that the market will be closed during this shutdown. Wholesale and retail markets will be closed in Delhi. Besides Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, and Kashmir will also be included in the block.
On February 14, 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in the terror attack in Pulwama, Kashmir. In this attack, terrorists Adil Ahmed Dar attacked an explosive-laden car with a CRPF convoy. There were several dozen carts in this convoy, one of which was hit by the vehicle. CAIT general secretary Praveen Khandelwal has said that the traders will also keep one day closure on February 18. All merchants will also get a march in their states.
He said that the organization of merchants will also provide financial assistance to the families of martyrs who will be given directly to the relatives of the martyrs. The organization also says that China is continuously helping Pakistan, so the goods made by China will also be boycotted. The organization has said that peaceful demonstrations will be performed throughout the country. However, the means and objects of public transport will not be barred.
Delhi's main markets include Chandni Chowk, Khari Baavali, Kashmiri Gate, Chavdi Bazar, Sadar Bazar, Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Kamla Nagar, South Extension, Lajpat Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar, Preet Vihar, Shahdara, Gandhi Nagar etc. The markets will remain closed.
